Arcolabs Surya is delighted to invite you to our Artist Talk of “The Sky is Portable,” solo exhibition by Aliansyah Caniago on January 9th, 2017, starting at 5pm.
In this talk, Aliansyah will discuss his inspirations, processes and the development of his current displays at SPACE gallery together with the exhibition curator Sally Taxenia who has a close observation over the artist’s development for about a decade. The talk will also invite the artist documentation assistant, Riyadhus Shalihin who witnessed the processes of art making together with some members of local communities from which Aliansyah gathered their everyday life stories.
We hope this event will provide you with an opportunity to reconsider the concept of ‘home’ and its relation to you and your surroundings.
